Water coming through the ceiling? Pipe burst under the floor? Don't wait for it to get worse. Our engineers respond within the hour, isolate the water supply, repair the damage, and test everything before they leave.
Immediate Advice
While you wait for our engineer, these steps can prevent further damage to your property.
Usually under the kitchen sink. Turn it clockwise to shut off the mains water supply to your property.
If water is near electrical fittings, sockets, or your fuse board, switch off at the consumer unit immediately.
Once the mains is off, open cold taps to drain the remaining water from the system and reduce pressure on the leak.
Place buckets under leaks, use towels to soak up standing water, and move electronics and valuables out of harm's way.

Common Causes
Understanding the cause helps us fix it faster. These are the most common reasons we see.
Water expands as it freezes, cracking or splitting copper and plastic pipes. Extremely common in unheated spaces during cold snaps.
Older copper and iron pipes corrode over time. Weak spots develop at joints and bends, eventually giving way under normal pressure.
If the mains pressure is too high or a pressure reducing valve has failed, the strain on joints and fittings can cause them to fail.
Nails, screws, or drill bits hitting a pipe during DIY work. Surprisingly common and usually results in a fast, high-pressure leak.
Pipes that aren't properly clipped can move over time. Water hammer — that banging noise — puts repeated stress on joints and fittings.
Our Response
We locate and shut off the water supply at the nearest point to the leak, stopping further damage immediately.
The source of the leak is identified and the extent of pipe damage is assessed. We explain exactly what's needed.
The damaged section is repaired or replaced with quality materials. Joints are properly soldered or compression-fitted.
The system is pressurised and tested for leaks before we restore your water supply. All work guaranteed for 1 year.
