Toilet overflowing? Sewage backing up? Water pooling around your drains? We clear blockages fast using professional equipment — high-pressure jetting, mechanical rodding, and CCTV inspection to make sure the problem is actually gone.
Immediate Advice
Drain emergencies can escalate quickly. These steps will help contain the situation until we arrive.
Don't flush toilets, run taps, or use the washing machine. Any water you add to the system will make the backup worse.
If you can safely access a manhole cover outside, lift it carefully. If it's full of standing water, the blockage is likely downstream — we need to know this.
Shop-bought drain unblockers rarely fix serious blockages and can make the situation more hazardous for our engineers. Leave it to us.
If sewage is backing up, lay old towels around the base of the toilet or affected drain. Keep children and pets away from the area.

Common Causes
Drain blockages build up over time or happen suddenly. Here are the causes we encounter most.
Fats poured down the kitchen sink solidify inside the pipe and trap other debris. Over time, the pipe narrows until water can't pass through.
Despite what the packaging says, "flushable" wipes don't break down like toilet paper. They snag in the pipes and create stubborn blockages.
Tree roots are drawn to moisture and can penetrate small cracks in underground pipes. Once inside, they grow rapidly and block the flow entirely.
Older clay pipes can crack, collapse, or shift over time — especially under driveways or where the ground has settled. This creates a permanent obstruction.
Toys, nappies, cotton buds, food waste — anything that shouldn't be in the drain but finds its way there. Usually caught at a bend or junction.
Our Response
We inspect the drainage system to locate the blockage — externally and internally. CCTV survey if the cause isn't immediately obvious.
High-pressure water jetting or mechanical rodding to break up and flush the blockage. The right method depends on what's blocking the drain.
A post-clearance check (CCTV if needed) to confirm the drain is fully clear and to identify any structural damage that needs follow-up.
We'll let you know what caused it and how to prevent it happening again. If structural repair is needed, we'll quote separately.
